Michael Chung has 22 years of teaching experience, being a MOE-MCYS accredited lecturer in early childhood education and pioneered 3 preschools as the Principal-Supervisor-Programme Director. He is a lecturer with University of Wales in BA Hons program.
He has also taught PSLE, "N" and "O"English
with CDAC which gave him a Certificate of
Commendation and a Long Service Award.
Besides, he had given parenting talks at public libraries

Your lectures for every module were very clear and you were very patient to explain individually to the class if anyone had difficulty in embarking on their assignments. As an enrichment centre owner, I apply the skills you have taught me to observe, evaluate and appraise teacher-effectiveness and now I have planned a creative curriculum for the children. I have known Michael for about 4 years. He is a good lecturer who is of high calibre in his teaching and instructional skills. He has taught me the knowledge and skills of being a preschool teacher. He is a dedicated lecturer and always keeps the lessons fun and interesting for everyone.

I was going to take up the IELTS course when I browsed through Patria Education website which listed it among other programmes offered. When I called up the Principal Consultant, Mr Michael Chung and conversed with him I instinctively knew I had found a great teacher to assist me with my IELTS course. I have attended IELTS Academic preparation course which was conducted by Teacher Michael. It was such an unforgettable learning journey and wonderful experience .The course was phenomenal , reasonable, excellent time frame to cover all the modules, content fabulous, and my results are a true testimonial to his wonderful course. In my first attempt , I have scored an overall band 6 in the IELTS test that I took on 21st March 2009 .
I have never seen such informative, interactive and useful information for IELTS preparation which offers as much gratification as he does . Mr Michael Chung is highly recommended by my mother’s friend whose son (a Japanese boy in Secondary 2 of a Singapore school) improved his English standard by 1 grade upwards. Presently Mr Chung is teaching him the SAT (Critical Reading & Writing). His insightful assessment of me is that I should have no problem with listening & speaking in the TOEFL exam because I am attending the Canadian International School. He decided to focus on reading & writing because of my time constraint within 20 hours before the exam.
He ably guides me through the TOEFL exam questions in a systematic & comprehensive way. I do not feel any exam pressure because he is so encouraging & supportive. During the 10 sessions (2 hours each) he patiently points out my mistakes & shows me how to improve myself.
When I received my TOEFL results I was overjoyed when I scored 25 out of 30 for Writing & above 21 for the other 3 sections (Reading, Speaking & Listening)! I couldn’t imagine scoring such high marks within just 20 hours except for Mr Chung’s expert, patient & encouraging guidance.
